Sustainability Policy
Last updated: 30th September 2025
Our mission is to create beautiful garments with a conscience. We believe that true luxury is a product that is made ethically, respects the planet, and is designed to last. This policy is a living document that outlines our commitment to responsible practices across our entire value chain.
1. Our Made-to-Order Model & The Fight Against Waste
Overproduction is one of the biggest issues in the fashion industry, leading to vast amounts of textile waste. We combat this by operating on a made-to-order basis.
Zero Overproduction: We only produce a set number of garments per collection, and each piece is made only after a customer has placed an order. This ensures we produce exactly what is needed, with no surplus stock.
Low Waste Production: Our business model is intentionally designed to minimise waste at every stage. We use the exact quantities of natural and cellulose fibres required for each garment and avoid large-scale, wasteful production runs.
2. Ethical and Local Production
We believe that keeping our supply chain local is the best way to ensure ethical labor standards and reduce our environmental footprint.
London-Based Manufacturing: All our garments are proudly manufactured in a small, independent workshop in London. This not only allows us to maintain a close relationship with our team but also drastically reduces the carbon emissions associated with long-distance shipping of finished goods.
Fair Labor Practices: By working with a local manufacturer, we can personally verify that our partners adhere to fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical labor practices that align with UK standards.
3. Conscious Materials & Sourcing
We are committed to using materials that are kinder to the planet and to you. We meticulously select every component of our garments, from the fabrics to the trims.
Natural & Cellulose Fibres: We prioritise the use of natural organic fibres and cellulose fibres, which are biodegradable and have a lower environmental impact compared to synthetic alternatives.
Responsibly Sourced Trims: Our commitment to sustainability extends to every detail. We use natural materials for our trims, such as custom-dyed buttons, to ensure our products are as eco-friendly as possible from start to finish.
4. Sustainable Packaging & Shipping
Our commitment to sustainability doesn’t end when your garment is made. We use packaging materials that are designed with the planet in mind.
Eco-Friendly Packaging: We use packaging that is either recycled, recyclable, or biodegradable.
Efficient Shipping: By using shipping partners who share our commitment to efficiency, we aim to minimise our delivery footprint.
5. Our Pledge to You
We create garments that are made to last. By using high-quality materials and manufacturing with care, we encourage you to "wear more, wash less." The longevity of our clothing is a cornerstone of our sustainability philosophy.
Caring for Your Garment: We provide detailed care instructions on our [Wear More, Wash Less page] to help you extend the life of your garment, reducing the need for new purchases and lowering your environmental impact over time.
This policy will serve as a powerful tool to communicate your client's values and build customer loyalty.
